Yeah. I was actually looking forward to this one before everything happened. Now I'm not sure I want to spend two hours watching a father and kid wander through the ruins of a dead world. We've got enough of that shit outside the theater.

Praying for Laurie. She's not gone like the others, but I wouldn't expect her to come back after what happened. I don't know how anyone is supposed to recover from something like this.

Yeah, until they decide to reboot it. They'll call it Saw: The Beginning or some shit and explain everything we already know again.

I guess it's low budget enough that anything is profit. They shot the thing for basically nothing compared to a normal horror movie, so it doesn't have to be a blockbuster to make a fortune.

You're hearing about it because the producers put more money into promoting the movie than they did into developing a decent story. It's shit. And of course it's trying to kick off a new franchise.

He's played great villains in some De Palma movies. Check out Blow Out and Raising Cain. He's got the range. I think he'll be creepy as hell once they stop making him look like the guy from Third Rock.

Exactly. The milk scene alone had more tension than most action movies. Nothing happens for like ten minutes and you're still sitting there thinking somebody's about to die. That's how you do dialogue.

A few for Pulp Fiction, but nothing after that. That's what keeps them worthy to us. If they won awards, they'd be mainstream, and we'd have to disown them.

Tarantino movies don't win awards. They're better than that.

Bonjourno. I'd just like to say... what a fuckin' movie. I went in expecting another Tarantino movie with a bunch of people standing around talking about hamburgers for twenty minutes, and instead got Nazis getting scalped, shot, burned, and generally having a terrible fucking time. The dialogue is still there, obviously, but every conversation feels like somebody could pull a gun at any second. And the whole theater scene at the end? Fucking awesome.

The weapons were fucking awesome. That alien gun that liquefies people? Holy shit. That's the kind of sci-fi shit I want to see.

Yeah, but the villain has plot armor because they're obviously trying to turn this shit-show into a franchise. That's the biggest problem with horror lately. Stop worrying about whether you can make three more movies and concentrate on making the first one good.

Doesn't matter if he's old and lazy. I'd rather watch him scratching his ass and drinking beers than watch this movie again.

Remember when I said Raimi should go back to making Evil Dead movies after the lackluster Spider-Man 3? I take that back.

PG-13 Terminator isn't real Terminator. Hell, the TV show was better than this.

Bale's on-set meltdown probably didn't help.
