I liked that the aliens weren't just invading Earth. They're basically stuck here and everybody treats them like shit. Then you find out humans are way more fucked up than the aliens.

I miss the days when horror villains were actually iconic. I've tried thinking of a new villain and literally everything has been done already. And honestly, what happened in this town is scarier than anything I've seen in a movie. I don't even want to give Myers credit for anything, but that fucking look is scary.

It's not all bad. At least it was set in the future war and didn't have any more shoehorned time travel. Seeing the machines actually running the war was pretty cool.
