13 is considered an unlucky number in general. That's why buildings like to pretend the 13th floor doesn't exist. Which is stupid, because it clearly does exist and they're superstitious dum dums for buying into that nonsense.

As for the Friday part, I'm not sure. Historically, Jesus was crucified on a Friday, so there's that. I guess they consider that an unlucky day, even though they call it "Good Friday". I guess whoever named it that hated Jews, so they were probably happy about it. And everyone else thought it was unlucky, even though Jesus was literally dying for their sins. I guess they thought eternal salvation was a bad thing?
