Finally bought The Departed on DVD. Classic Scorsese.

Everybody in this movie is basically playing the titular role. Nobody knows who the hell anybody really is, and everybody is lying to somebody. The whole thing works because you never know who is going to get fucked next.

No, that's the problem. Jigsaw talks about rules and giving people a chance to survive, then Amanda just rigs the game because she's pissed off.

Amanda rigged half of those traps. How was anybody supposed to win?

I liked it. It's violent, it's tense, R. Lee Ermey is great, and you don't have to think too hard about it.

You guys are proving the movie right.

The whole thing with everybody getting dumber is what got me.
