Yes! Everyone's going into this expecting the greatest movie ever, and their expecations are what's ruining it for them. Think of it from Raimi's point of view. He had a lot of characters and arcs to juggle, but he did the best he could with it. Plus, this also had some studio interference.

Spider-Man 2 was amazing. Joke not intended. Really glad superhero movies are finally getting treated like actual movies instead of just dumb shit for kids.
