I think J.K. Rowling is a good writer, but my interest is still more casual than fanatical. I've still seen all the movies though, and I'll probably watch this one when it comes out in a few years.

Anyway, I thought it was decent.

Not great. I expected more from it, but there were some good ideas in there. I do think the book was better though. Some stuff doesn't translate well. It works better when your imagination is doing the heavy-lifting.

Finally saw 1408 tonight.

For anyone who doesn't know, it's the Stephen King story about a guy who stays in a haunted hotel room that is basically trying to kill him.

Had pretty high expectations going in. Not sure how I feel about it.
