Pretty much agree. If it's common, buy it. If it's impossible to find without selling a kidney, download it and then buy it if you ever see a reasonably priced copy. I've always preferred physical copies anyway.

That's pretty much his argument about everything. Rock of today is already way different than the rock of the 50s. If Little Richard is the same genre as AC/DC, we've already blurred the distinction for any of it to make sense. Rock is just a catch-all term now.

Dio is one of those guys you can put on and immediately know you're listening to somebody who means it. You'd think replacing Ozzy would be sacrilegious... then you're like, "Oh, they picked Dio. We're safe."

That's the appeal. You get to live vicariously through somebody else's mistakes while sitting safely on your couch. No consequences.

Everyone knows Scarface dies. People still watch it. People still love Scarface. Knowing the ending doesn't ruin the movie.
