Jesus. Annie and Lynda were friends with that Strode girl. She was babysitting some kids when the guy broke in and came after them. The kids said he took her away. Next thing you know, Michael and Loomis are left for dead at the Myers house and the Sheriff finds Laurie wandering aimlessly downtown with a gun in her hand.

I heard stories about him when I was a kid. The boy who killed his sister on Halloween. But that's all they ever were until now. Stories. I used to walk past that house and make jokes about it with my friends. It never felt real. Then they find dead bodies in there. The guy's doctor is in the ICU. Two girls in the hospital. Cops dead. Paramedics dead.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. They're still finding bodies between here and Smith's Grove. And nobody knows where the guy went? What the hell is going on?

I feel helpless right now and I hate it. I don't know what to do.

I plead the fifth.

What the hell is he doing here? He doesn't belong here.

I like the new Radiohead though. Some is weird, but some sounds more like their middle era stuff, which I'm fine with.

I like candles. I'm a candle girl.

Then what's the point of a record store?

I don't understand why they don't just sell the thing.

That's what I want to know. What's stopping me from putting in $0.01?

There's something different in the air that really makes this month feel special. Every other month is about maintaining the status quo, but October is alternative. Everything is different, and everybody's cool with that. For one month, weirdness is embraced.

Oh, excuse me: the mindless and essentially undead bodies running around trying to bite people and turn them into mindless and essentially undead bodies.

Anyone else going Friday? 28 Days Later was one of the best zombie movies I'd seen in years, so I'm cautiously optimistic about this one. Hopefully they don't screw up the sequel.

Was anybody else bored by Mary Jane? She's basically about to cheat on Peter with Harry. Can't blame her though. Franco is hotter.
