Music » Whole bean coffee vs. ground

What's actually the difference between whole bean coffee and ground coffee?

People get really fucking snobby about this. Is there actually a reason to care or is it just another thing people pretend to understand so they can feel superior?

We're not talking about time-travel here. We're talking about spatial travel, and the whole idea is that space is folding and you're piercing through one end and out the other. We've proven that space can bend because of gravity, and that's all part of the theory of relativity. The moon orbits earth, earth orbits the sun, the sun orbits the center of the Milky Way, the Milky Way orbits its own barycenter, blah blah blah.

Gravity is constantly bending the universe, so who's to say that it's not getting bent like a pretzel where one point here can be adjacent to another point there?

Dude, you're arguing about realism in a video game. Not sure what you're trying to achieve here, but most people don't play games to emulate reality. And even so, the portal system is still following the rules of its program, and when you think about it, isn't reality just a complex system bound to the rules of physics and universal laws?

Saying it's not scientific is pretty ignorant. Einstein came up with wormhole theories over 70 years ago, and most of his theories remain surprisingly accurate to this day. So just because it's not yet proven doesn't mean it won't be eventually.

People eat pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. That's one day.

Why does everybody have to shove pumpkin spice flavored everything down our throats for two months?

Coffee has a long and complicated history that goes back centuries.

According to the most commonly repeated account, coffee was first discovered in Ethiopia when a goat herder named Kaldi noticed that his goats became unusually energetic after eating the berries from a certain tree. Kaldi tried the berries himself and experienced the same effect. He brought them to a nearby monastery, where a monk reportedly disapproved of them and threw them into a fire. The aroma produced by the roasting beans allegedly led to the first roasted coffee.

From Ethiopia, coffee eventually spread through the Arabian Peninsula. Yemen became an important center of cultivation and trade, and coffee drinking developed into a social activity. Coffeehouses became popular throughout the Middle East, where people gathered to talk, listen to music, play games and discuss politics.

Coffee eventually reached Europe during the 16th and 17th centuries. The first European coffeehouses appeared in major cities and became centers of social and intellectual activity. Some people initially believed coffee was dangerous, while others praised it as a healthy alternative to alcoholic beverages.

Coffee later spread throughout the Americas and became an important commercial crop. Different regions developed their own methods of cultivation, roasting and preparation.

Today coffee is one of the most widely consumed beverages in the world and exists in countless forms, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, americano, Turkish coffee, French press and many others.

So basically coffee has been important to human civilization for a really long time.
