I've been crying pretty much all week. I feel like such an asshole because I'm still here and my life is basically intact while other people lost everything. I keep thinking about Laurie waking up and realizing what happened. She doesn't even have anybody now.

I liked the mom, too. Vera Farmiga was really good. She's been popping up in a lot of interesting movies lately. She actually makes the family drama work instead of just having everybody act stupid so the killer can keep getting away with things.

Today is Friday the 13th, which as we all know is a day honoring our favorite masked psychopath, Jason Voorhees. Whatever the actual meaning of this day was will forever be buried beneath the saga of an 80s slasher franchise.

I'm glad we're finally getting another Jason movie, but why does it have to be a remake? I wanted Freddy vs. Jason 2, god damnit!

Speaking of giant peaches, why did they make the neighbors so plump? Was anyone else surprised by the neighbor's massive rack? Like holy shit. This is a kid's movie, right?
