I wasn't expecting it to be as gross as it was. I felt bad for the aliens, which is probably the point, but then the movie gets progressively more violent. That was a nice surprise.

Today is Friday the 13th, which as we all know is a day honoring our favorite masked psychopath, Jason Voorhees. Whatever the actual meaning of this day was will forever be buried beneath the saga of an 80s slasher franchise.

Good cast too. Famke Janssen is gorgeous. I've been in love with her since Goldeneye.

I'll probably wait for the video. I don't know if I need to drive an hour just to see Ray Stevenson shoot a hundred guys in the face. Although I guess that's exactly the sort of movie where that might be worth the trip.

Anybody else confused why Isaac Hayes just disappears halfway through the movie? I kept waiting for him to come back.

Finally caught Choke. It's from the guy who wrote Fight Club, so I went in expecting something completely different. It's definitely not Fight Club 2. More of a dark, awkward comedy about a guy who can't really get his shit together, but I liked it.

Unrealistic. No way an ugly fat Jewish dude like him gets a girl like Amber Heard.
