It was just sitting there on the trail like someone dropped it. It couldn't have been there that long because it wasn't warped or anything, and it just rained a few days ago. But it can't be Annie. This picture has it written on the back "JLC '89".

I was walking through the woods by the Lost River and found this old polaroid. She looks familiar, but I can't place it. Anybody know who she is?

The really weird part is that if you had some kind of stable wormhole, the two ends wouldn't necessarily have to connect two places in the same universe. If you're thinking fifth dimensionally, that's like having universes stacked on top of each other. You could be tunneling between realities, where the distance isn't spatially far, but dimensionally.

Exactly. Einstein also proved that the universe is capable of distorting itself with his talk of gravity, black holes, time dilation, et cetera. The universe isn't some flat plane where everything exists at a set coordinate. Everything is affected by gravity, and theoretical Einstein-Rosen bridges can be a direct result of space warping around dense gravitational fields.
