#Insidious (2010)
Ugh. James Wan horror movies are fucking terrible. I really wish he'd stop making them.

#RIP Chuck Russell
He directed Elm Street 3, The Blob '88, The Mask, and Eraser. All good flicks.
Nightmare 3 is one of the best of the series, and The Blob is one of the best remakes. I used to watch The Mask a lot as a kid, and I'd watch basically any Arnold action flick. He also did The Scorpion King if you're into that, and apparently the Witchboard remake from a couple years ago.

So there is a US airbase about 20 minutes away from where I live. Iran has now threatened to attack this airbase because the UK allows the US to launch operations from it (not officially but American planes are coming to and from it all the time). Now the chances of Iran hitting it are highly unlikely, because you know for a start, Iran's missile capabilities have been destroyed. Several times. And I'm pretty sure the UK is capable of defending itself from such an attack (that's some distance for a missile to travel). I only found out about it after my mum (who lives even closer to it) sent me a message saying "fuck Trump" (TDS runs in the family unfortunately) because Orange Man still doesn't have a clue how to end this war. I'm sure a new deal will be on the table soon enough though and we'll be told that it'll all be over in a jiffy. DΓ©jΓ vu anyone?

Tubi has all of #TalesFromTheCrypt now. It's insane how many big guest stars were on this show. I'll give it a re-watch, though I want to say my initial viewing pegged most of the show was pretty solid. Seven seasons is a stretch for any show, though. Had they topped out at five seasons, it might have been even better.

#EvilDeadBurn (2026)
Nothing to see here, folks. It's more of the same, and not in a good way. Not in the way of if it ain't broke, don't fix it. More along the lines of we didn't understand it two movies ago and we're still not up for figuring it out.
Like the last movie, this one starts with an unrelated deadite encounter, then lures a family to a rotten house for a wake, and it all falls apart from there. But again, only in ways we've all seen before. Read from the book, use the dagger to stop the demons, and with mediocre jump scares in between.
Yeah, there were some gross parts, but they're overhyping those. I just got out of the movie and I'm already forgetting it. It's funny in the wrong ways, and I'm indifferent to it in the long run. I'll just have to accept the fact that nobody fucking understands how to make Evil Dead movies. I figured it would be easy, but they're going out of their way to prove me wrong.
Rise vs. Burns? I don't know. They're both retarded step-children to me. I probably hated Rise just a tiny bit more, so yay Burns?
