SYSTEM OVERRIDE

In 1985, Sarah gave birth to a son named John Connor. The father was believed to be Kyle Reese, the man she was with during the 1984 incident. Sarah and John moved around a lot, in and out of the country in places like Mexico and Central America where she was training him in defense tactics and weaponry.

Pescadero institution

In 1994, Sarah Connor was arrested after trying to blow up a computer factory. She was charged with a litany of offenses, including child endangerment, and sentenced to the Pescadero Mental Institution under the care of criminal psychiatrist Dr. Peter Silberman. Silberman had analyzed Sarah and Kyle Reese in 1984 imminently before the police station shootout. He believes that the incident surrounding her, the phonebook killer, the death of Kyle Reese, and the Cyberdyne factory had caused her to become deluded and mentally unstable.

Her son John was sent to live with foster parents Todd and Janelle Voight. Sarah would remain in the state hospital for several months. Some people believe that Silberman was using her case to further his career, and that Sarah was putting on fronts to reduce her sentence, but Silberman wasn't buying her act. Sarah would stay remain incarcerated until early June, when John was attacked and the mysterious phonebook killer had come back into the public eye.
