SYSTEM OVERRIDE
On May 11th, 1984, Los Angeles was hit by a bizarre series of murders that nobody talks about. A big guy that no one's ever seen before started killing a bunch of women one by one. The plot twist? They all had the same name: Sarah Connor.
Police were calling him the Phonebook Killer, because they were killed in order of their phonebook listing. By the time he got to the third girl on the list, Sarah Jeanette Connor, police were already worried and trying to track her down so they could get ahead of it.
This Sarah was waiting in a night club called the Tech Noir for police to come help her. They tried reaching her at her apartment and found the guy had already been there and killed her roommate and the girl's boyfriend. Sarah thought she would be safe in a public place, but the guy found her there and a major gunfight broke out. Witnesses say they saw the attacker get shot repeatedly in the torso, only to get up and chase after them like it was nothing.
Sarah got away and police took her to the station. They were holding a man she was with for questioning when the attacker showed up at the police station and started a massacre. This was a POLICE STATION. Trained officers with an arsenal, and this unknown man killed over a dozen of them trying to get to this girl. Against all odds, Sarah managed to escape the gunfire and lose his trail for another 24 hours before he tracked her down at a motel.
By nightfall, Sarah and the man she was with were involved in another car chase, which resulted in an oil tanker explosion right outside the Cyberdyne factory in Sunnyvale. By the time police arrived, the man she was with was dead, Sarah had shrapnel in her leg, and the attacker was nowhere to be seen. Whatever happened in that factory was locked down and nobody talked about it.
