#LadyStayDead 1981

This Australian flick is about a stupid voyeuristic handyman who's hot over this bitchy actress who is always rude to him. It's not like he's undeserving of her scorn. He's a total tool who deserves every bit of it, but suffice to say, he's had enough of her shit! After having his way with her and offing her in a fish tank, he goes on a murder spree as the woman's sister comes over to visit, and what ensues is a fairly interesting mess of his erratic behavior.

The horror is minimal, with a dash of home invasion and a bit of a hostage/shootout dilemma at the end. Did I mention how much of a tool this guy is? Yet somehow, he has superhuman durability and walks us right into a cop-out of an ending. The characters in this movie are all kind of dumb and annoying, but the movie is surprisingly adequate.
