#Spookies 1986

I kick off the month with this bizarre cheesefest about an evil old man, farting monsters, and zombies. It's super 80s and loaded with atmosphere and fog, almost feeling like an Italian flick at times due to its weird incompetence.

Unfortunately, I can't say it's great. It wants to emulate the good stuff like Evil Dead and Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things, but it comes off more as a Demon Wind meets Frightmare and Mausoleum. It's all over the place if you like hard to follow zaniness. I didn't hate it, but I'm already forgetting most of it, which is why I need to write this down.
