Even if the site somehow survives, I don't think I'm coming back after tonight. Not because of you guys. Just... I don't think I can look at this place the same way anymore.

Same. I thought we'd be joking around in here tonight. Feels wrong posting about anything else now.

Either way I'll be watching. Figure I'll jump over to the live stream around ten once things have settled in.

Maybe people just fill in gaps. Something sounds logical... eventually enough people repeat it... and everybody accepts it.

Funny you mention that. I almost replied saying you were right. Walked by there a couple nights ago. Garage is definitely there. Looks old too. Doesn't look like somebody added it recently.

Something else... What about Langdon?
Michael somehow gets inside Marion's house, kills her, hides the body, then somehow gets ahead of everybody else again. That timeline always seemed weird to me. |

Could be. People act like only one impossible explanation is allowed. But I still don't understand the whole "crushed larynx" bit. I doubt he would do that to himself.

Fair point. Memory isn't perfect. Still seems odd how different those descriptions are. But considering that we had three different descriptions from a total of three survivors means nobody's agreeing on anything.

Maybe not. Didn't people mention earlier that different hardware stores sold slightly different versions? If three different people each bought one... they wouldn't necessarily match.

Something's bugged me about the Summer Glen murders for years. People described THREE different masks. One was smooth white with slicked-back hair and totally black eyeholes. Another had rougher texture, messier hair and you could supposedly see the eyes better. Then there's... whatever that third cheap-looking one was.
What if there wasn't just one Michael? What if there were three? |

Doesn't really matter if the guy existed. It's the setting that sticks with you. Dark road. No lights. Weird noise. Your imagination does the rest.

When I was a kid we drove through Texas on vacation. Middle of nowhere. Pitch black. Dad pulled over because everybody had to use the bathroom. I'm standing there by the ditch... and somewhere off in the darkness I hear a chainsaw start up.
Didn't stick around to investigate. Everybody practically dove back into the car. |

Walked by in daylight a few times. House looked empty. Never saw the guy again. Didn't exactly go looking for him either.

Mine actually happened to me. There's this abandoned house I used to pass on my walks. One night I noticed somebody standing way back in the yard. Just watching me. I stopped because I thought maybe they needed help or something. The second I looked directly at him... he started running at me. I didn't stick around to find out what he wanted. Ran all the way home.
Nowadays I carry a pocket knife whenever I walk at night. Probably would've never used it... but it makes me feel a little better. |

Nothing around the Myers house. Honestly I don't walk that way as much anymore. Did notice a manhole cover sitting crooked a couple blocks over though. Probably city workers. Just looked... off.

Hello? Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anyone home?

Mostly whatever's on the local radio while I'm out walking. Never really stick to one band.

Mostly quiet. Last night was weird though. Dog somewhere a block or two over started barking like crazy. Wouldn't stop. Then all of a sudden... one sharp yelp... and silence.
Could've been anything. Still made the hair stand up on my neck. |

I've never really liked sitting inside. Once everyone goes to bed I'll just throw on a jacket and walk for a while. Town feels completely different after midnight.
