Curious how this event's actually going to work. Could end up being really entertaining... or really boring.

I was thinking more about Myers stuff specifically. It's weird how many people confidently remember details that never happened. Not little things either. Entire events.

Reading the mask thread got me thinking. People swear they remember details that apparently never existed.

Example...

Like that thread from a few days ago mentioned, I would've bet money the Myers house never had a garage. Apparently it always has.

Anybody else have stuff like that?

Somebody said maybe the paramedic never yelled because he was a method actor committed to the illusion.

Or maybe his throat got obliterated when the axe went through his neck. Kind of hard to analyze vocal cords after your head's been chopped off.

It sounds crazy... but why would one guy keep swapping masks during the same night?

Funny how your brain immediately fills in the blanks. Darkness plus chainsaw equals "time to leave."

Mostly peaceful. You notice things everyone else misses. Sometimes that's a good thing. Sometimes you wish you hadn't.

When I lived in Missouri people talked about a town called Kettle Springs. Never heard one consistent version. Just that around ten years ago there were several disappearances that nobody really explained.

Could've all been rumors. People there definitely acted weird whenever somebody brought it up.

Night people are good at entertaining themselves. Silence doesn't bother us as much.

Exactly. During the day your brain filters all that out. At night every little sound suddenly feels important.

That's actually what makes him scary. Not that he's some monster... that he's just another person until he decides not to be.

Exactly. Everybody pictures him hiding in abandoned buildings. Why? He could be sitting in an apartment reading forums for all we know.

Reading. I always tell myself "one more chapter." Three hours later I'm still awake.

Bits and pieces. Old newspaper archives. Stories from retired deputies. Nothing I'd call definitive. Just something that comes up once in a while.
