I keep feeling guilty because part of me is sad about losing the community when other people lost friends and family. Everything just feels upside down.

I missed most of it because the site went down... then spent half the day reading what happened. I honestly wish I hadn't.

Or they just nod along because the detail doesn't seem important. Eventually nobody remembers where it came from.

I've heard people swear Laurie had a daughter. There's no record of one. Still hear it come up every now and then.

That's honestly always been my biggest issue. He somehow kills people... moves bodies... gets to the next victim... and nobody ever notices him traveling between locations.

Counterpoint...
If there WERE multiple killers, wouldn't they all agree to wear the same mask? |

The abandoned school story reminded me of one my mom used to tell.
There was this old farmhouse we'd pass every summer visiting family. Every single time we'd drive by, there'd be an older woman standing in the attic window smiling and waving at traffic. Thought nothing of it. Later found out the house had been empty because the woman who lived there had died about a week before our first trip. Never figured out who we kept seeing. |

That's horrifying. Mostly because nobody would've thought to look there for years.

Mine's less creepy. I just keep seeing homeless people wandering around downtown after bars close. From a distance they shuffle around like zombies until you get close enough to realize they're just exhausted.
